Ученые подсчитали количество видов цветов, растущих на нашей планете. Оказывается, на Земле растет более 270 тысяч разнообразных по красоте цветковых растений. Такое огромное количество свидетельствует о буйстве фантазии, которое присуще окружающей нас природе.

Однако на планете растут несколько удивительных видов цветов, которые никого не могут оставить равнодушным. Их совершенство неоспоримо.

Орхидея – цветок страсти

Восторг от созерцания орхидей сейчас может получить каждый из нас. Однако подобное удовольствие еще совсем недавно было доступно только жителям тропических стран. Оказывается, в начале XIX века орхидея попала в Европу случайно. Бизнесмен Уильям Каттлей, занимающийся в то время импортом экзотических растений из тропиков, решил оживить луковичные стебли из упаковочного материала.

Его усилия увенчались успехом. Расцвел прекрасный бледно-лиловый цветок, который и был назван орхидеей.

Как только люди увидели незабываемое великолепие этого цветкового растения, они в буквальном смысле начали на охоту на орхидеи. Тропические джунгли были прочесаны вдоль и поперек. Целью таких поисков было завладеть самым редким видом орхидей.

Из истории известно, что цена этих удивительных созданий природы доходила до абсурдного размера. Например, в 1906 году в столице Великобритании орхидея была продана за 100 тысяч долларов. Если орхидея довольно экзотический цветок, то фиалку можно не считать таковой, ведь мы часто с ней сталкиваемся в повседневной жизни. Однако именно этот цветок считается одним из красивейших созданий растительного мира. Люди научились пользоваться дарами этого цветка. Фиалка обладает неземным запахом. И многие ее виды используются в производстве парфюмерии.

Кстати, именно фиалка была любимым цветком такого великого человека как Наполеон. Древние Афины избрали фиалку своим символом. В современном мире этот цветок является государственным в Висконсине.

А вот среди русского народа она имеет странную славу. Некоторые наши граждане считают, что фиалка чаще использовалась как украшение могил. Поэтому существует суеверие, что фиалки в доме разводить нежелательно.

Лилия – романтика и непорочность

Древние ассирийцы и египтяне были поклонниками этого цветка. Известно, что в Древней Персии изображение лилии использовалось при оформлении герба.

Древние греки же считали, что лилия имеет божественное происхождение. По преданию великого народа, этот цветок появился из капелек молока богини Геры, которая являлась супругой главного бога Греции Зевса. Она тайно родила мальчика, Геракла, и решила его спрятать в кустах.

Она решила его накормить, но он оттолкнул грудь и молоко брызнуло на небо, вследствие чего образовался Млечный путь, состоящий из небесных светил. А те несколько капель, которые попали на землю, превратились в великолепные по красоте цветы, лилии.

Роза – цветок желаний и любви

Роза не уступает по красоте всем перечисленным выше цветам. В древние времена люди преклонялись перед данным совершенным созданием окружающего нас мира. Именно у народов Востока роза считается цветком желаний. Как утверждается в древнеиндийских сказаниях, человек, подаривший царю такой цветок, может просить у него все, чего хочет.

Родина розы – это Иран, который в давние времена назывался Персией. На местном языке ее называли гюль. Кстати, у самой страны было еще одно название – Гюлистан, что в переводе означает «сад роз».

Считается, что в Индию роза попала благодаря правителю Бабуру, который заложил основы великой империи Моголов. Он занимался разведением садов. Так этот цветок стал полноправным хозяином в Индии.

Чуть позже в Древней Греции, куда розу привезли из восточных стран, данный цветок стал символом любви и красоты. Мнение греков в вопросе появления розы было связано с тем, что цветок появился из пены морской, которое покрывало тело Афродиты, богини любви.

Тюльпан в саду – прекрасное рядом с тобой

Тюльпан распространен по всему миру. И также является цветком, который можно считать одним из прекраснейших созданий растительного сообщества. Многие считают, что Греция и есть родина тюльпана. Однако исследования древних персидских произведений показали, что этот цветок родом именно из Персии.

В древнем Иране его называли дюльбашем или тюрбаном, что в переводе означает «чалма». А ведь он похож на этот головной убор. Как гласят летописи, тюльпан выращивался людьми уже в 1000 году.

Чуть позже цветок попал в Турцию. Жены султанов очень любили разводить в своих садах тюльпаны. Они считали, что этот цветок является символом любви и расположения к своему повелителю. Нередко в Турции устраивались даже праздники, посвященные тюльпанам.

Лотос – символ чистоты

Лотос по праву можно включить в список самых красивых и прекрасных цветов на планете. Он относится к разряду священных растений и на протяжении всей истории человечества был символом чистоты и красоты. Лотосу поклонялись древние египтяне. Все искусство этого удивительного народа пронизано образом священного цветка.

Восточная мудрость всегда содержала в себе понимание взаимодействия сил Солнца и воды, в результате которых рождается новая жизнь. Удивительные цветы планеты

Природа всегда умела создавать не только прекрасные цветы. На нашей планете можно встретить и такие цветковые растения, которые могут поразить любого из нас.

Огромный красный цветок, напоминающий цвет крови, под названием Раффлезия Арнольди, незабываемо красив.90 см в ширину и вес почти 11 кг – вот какие параметры имеет этот цветок.

А вот запах Раффлезии отталкивает настолько, что никто кроме навозных мух не решается его опылять. Кроме того, такой цветок не имеет ни стебля, ни листьев, ни корней. Он растет прямо из обвивающихся лиан.

Если Раффлезия является самым широким цветком на планете, то самым высоким считается Аморфофаллус Титаниум, который достигает трех метров в высоту. Возможно, его и можно назвать красивым соцветием. Однако в то время, когда он цветет, Аморфофаллус издает очень неприятный запах. Рядом с ним находиться просто невозможно.

Этот гигант был обнаружен в 1878 году итальянцем Одоардо Бечари. Самый большой представитель этого вида оказался в высоту 3,3 метра и при этом весил 75 кг.
